Well, it took me long enough but I finally found these poor guys buried in some unknown file mix up. Really goes to show I have not been working on this computer in a very long time and don't know my way around. That will have to end. Hope you enjoy the paintings.

These and several others will be shown at Campbell's Enrolled Agents Co., Inc. Located on 41 directly across from the Ice House in Punta Gorda, FL. My Artist friend Becky VanPelt will be exhibiting with me. Come by and see our Safari we will be there through April. I plan to do something about this Blog. It is in Shambles! I will either correct it or start from scratch. I have one other painting to upload but have lost it somewhere I will try to recover it and try to upload it. Unfortunately my iPad does not seem to work on this blog which makes it very difficult for me.

New Painting For FAF
It has been a very long time since I have posted anything. However it is time for painting again as far as getting ready for the Fine Arts Festival at the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda, FL. This year they are honoring Picasso. Since most of my work is in realism I am not that fond of most of Picasso's later works. I did, however have some fun painting this gal. I named her. " La Belle Demoiselle dans mons Coeur." Meaning- The beautiful Girl in my Heart.

Posting After Quite a While
It has been almost forever since I have posted anything. To be honest I don't even know if I will be able to get a picture up on the screen because I actually cannot remember how to do it. I'm hoping that it will come back to me as I move along. So many things have happened in the years I've been off but I won't go in to that now. Just suffice it to say that this year they are planning to do a Fine Arts Festival at the Visual Art Center in Punta Gorda and I am participating. I will try to put up one of my paintings for you to see. I chose to do A Pen & Ink /watercolor illustration of some Dicken's characters. The Theme is the "Victorian Era".
It seems to have worked. I'm sorry but when you frame --since I'm not a photographer I will always get the glare on there from the glass or plexiglass. But at least you can get the idea. I see the have a lot of new things now. Maybe I'll revamp this old blog and star writing again. TTYL, Lee

I finished Chocolat last nite and posted her but it didn't take. so I'll do it again. I only have to paint the sides and top of the canvas. This is Art Nouveau-- Alphonse Much. I love his posters. I hope I have done them justice.

Reminder
My friend and fellow Co-Op Artist reminded me that I forgot to mention the fact that the Arcadia Opera House Artists of which I am one are exhibiting at the Goff Gallery for the entire month of September until October 3rd. This Co-Op actually has 14 artists but only 9 are exhibiting this time. The Goff Gallery is located in the Visual Arts Center on Maud St. in Punta Gorda Florida. It is a marvelous exhibit and shows some extremely talented artists. Please stop by and take a look. I'm sure you might find something you would like to take home!!!
